The KMG output filter is an L-C-R, low pass filter. This is a tuned filter which combines inductance, capacitance, and resistance. Along with these fundamental components, the filter contains an optional protection monitor board. This board ensures that the filter is providing adequate dv/dt and peak voltage protection and includes a fault alarm relay for customer use.
