Yes, the HGA can correct harmonics from a DC drive. The harmonic spectrum looks different from a traditional 6-pulse VFD, however the HGA can correct for the harsher harmonic signature. More corrective current is required for a DC drive application so please consult your TCI representative and size the filter one size larger to handle the DC drive application.
